Dr. Mike Soo, MD
My interest in Energy medicine has grown out of my journey through eastern, western and new age spirituality and healing methods; and out of the desire to share what I have learned with others. I offer energy healing sessions to support your journey to greater health, happiness and vitality. It is also my wish that you find a deeper sense of self and purpose in your life.
Dr Soo was born in Clinton, NC. His father is from China and his mother is from Clinton. Both of his parents are medical doctors. Dr Soo attended Duke university and earned a degree in zoology. He then followed his parents footsteps to Wake Forest Medical School and completed his MD degree. He then returned to Durham after completing neurology residency in Pittsburgh, PA.
After a fellowship in neuromuscular disorders at Duke, he worked for 22 years in private practice of neurology and sleep medicine, an experience for which he is grateful. To deepen his understanding of disease and health and to better serve his patients, he studied acupuncture at the Helms institute accredited by UCLA. He studied energy healing modalities including Quantum Touch with Alan Heriot, Pam Whitehurst and others, Jin Shin Jyutsu, Usui/Holy Fire Reiki with William Rand , medical Qigong with Master Nan Lu at World TCM foundation and with Robert Peng who is a master of the elixir light school of qigong.
He has studied Dzogchen meditation for 25 years including 15 years under the guidance of Lama Surya Das and other teachers. He has also studied and practiced branches of yoga, daosim and other spiritual systems with various teachers.
He has personally experienced and benefited from western medicine as a patient, and from several styles of energy and alternative medicine including acupuncture, cranial therapy, craniosacral therapy, body talk, Reiki, quantum touch, past life regression and other intuitive healers.
He uses a combination of modalities that he has learned tailored to each client.
Audrey offers sessions of intuitive energy healing for her clients. She draws on her background and training in Reiki, Qi Gong, spiritually guided healing, Jin Shin Jyutsu and meditation to guide and inform her healing work.
Recognizing that blockages and imbalances within the subtle energy field of the body can cause physical, emotional and mental discomfort and pain, she can help clients to release these blockages and imbalances energetically and vibrationally.
From an early age, she has felt a connection to spirit. This was strengthened through faith healing experiences in her teenage years. More recently she has explored various energy healing modalities. She has continued a personal practice of prayer, meditation and Qi Gong.
She offers a receptive and warm loving space for her clients in her sessions.
